Attendance operators maintain timekeeping: register devices, sync via HR Sync Agent, view/create/edit attendance, and monitor sync logs.

Who this role is for

Attendance clerks, front desk, IT support, or device maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

  • Register and configure K60/biometric devices
  • Maintain device network and sync settings
  • Run sync via HR Sync Agent
  • View, create, and edit attendance entries
  • Monitor sync logs and report errors
  • Look up employees for punch matching
  • Enter manual attendance during outages

Add a new device

  1. Devices → Create with branch and type
  2. Connect K60 to network and agent
  3. Confirm first punch in sync logs
  4. Test punch appears in attendance

  3. Restart agent and resync
  4. Escalate to HR or IT if unresolved

  • No leave, payroll, or reports export
  • Cannot edit employee master records
  • No users, settings, or tasks

Uses admin web panel on desktop or tablet. Employee mobile check-in requires the employee role.

Can I add manual attendance?

Yes — with attendances.create/update. Coordinate with branch manager.

Can I link device IDs to new hires?

View only — ask HR to update employee records.
